At Happy Chinese 乐言华文, our Early Years Home Immersion Program is thoughtfully designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years old.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we believe that young children learn best through exploration, relationships, and meaningful experiences.

A Reggio-Inspired Mandarin Experience at Home

In the comfort and familiarity of your home, children engage in an immersive Mandarin environment where the target language (Mandarin) is naturally integrated into songs, movement, storytelling, sensory play, and guided exploration.

We view children as capable, curious learners. Through what Reggio educators describe as the “100 Languages of Children,” we encourage self-expression through:

• Music and rhythm

• Art and creative expression

• Sensory and messy play

• Movement and dramatic play

• Hands-on exploration

Language becomes a living experience — not memorization, but meaningful communication.

Inquiry-Based Monthly Themes

Each month, our curriculum revolves around a carefully designed inquiry-based theme, allowing children to explore big ideas in depth.

• Community & Relationships

Through guided questions, hands-on materials, and interactive storytelling, children build vocabulary and confidence in authentic contexts.
